What Soil Auger Material Types Are Available?

We offer two material options for soil augers. Carbon steel models feature carbon steel bails, stainless steel (SST) cylinders, and heat-treated, high-carbon steel bits with tungsten carbide hard-surfaced edges. SST models are fully constructed of stainless steel, making them ideal for environmental sampling and EPA testing.
